Recommendation to the Foundation Board that they remove the cobblestones at the San Marino crossing.
MOTION #2 (PASSED)
Recommendation to the Foundation Board that they remove the cobblestones from all mid-block crosswalk locations.
MOTION #3 (PASSED)
Motion to omit cobblestones at the North Pointe Drive crossing that is planned to be done this summer.
MOTION #4 (FAILED)
Install pedestrian-activated flashing lights at both the North Tram station and San Marino mid-block crossings identical to the crossing on Myra Janco Daniels Boulevard.
MOTION #5 (PASSED)
Install a pedestrian-activated flashing light at the North Tram station mid-block crossing identical to the crossing on Myra Janco Daniels Boulevard.
MOTION #6 (FAILED)
When installing the new brick crosswalk at North Pointe Drive across Pelican Bay Boulevard that the crossing be located to align with the eastern sidewalk of North Pointe Drive.
MOTION #7 (FAILED)
Proceed with the 8-feet pathways widening project subject to the recommendations made by the certified arborist, Mr. Ralph B. Jimison.
MOTION #8 (PASSED)
Limit the pathways width to 6-feet.

| NORTH BEACH RENOVATION UPDATE |

The new proposals for renovations at North Beach received very
positive comments from the members that were in attendance at the
Facilities Ad Hoc Committee meeting. View the proposed renovations here:
Some minor revisions will be made and another rendition will be presented.

Motion: Approve awarding the contract for the replacement of the south
boardwalk pilings to Walker Contracting Group for approximately
$241,972 -
Approved Unanimously
Motion: Approve awarding the contract for the replacement of south
tennis courts 9 and 10 to Ritzman Tennis Courts. Contract
includes the cost to lower the courts to be consistent with
the other courts for approximately $104,280.

Motion: Sunset Beach Advisory Group
Motion: Recertify the Tennis Advisory Group
Much discussion surrounded these motions. The decision was made to
re-certify both of these groups for one year and then re-evaluate
Motion: Re-appoint Curtis Sims and Kevin Shanahan to the Audit Budget
Committee.
